Maria is a former Digital Dining Editor at Frolic Hawai‘i and HONOLULU Magazine. Her first job was making shave ice for sun-baked beachgoers at Island Snow in Kailua, and she’s been chasing fun, food-centric experiences ever since. In Honolulu’s dining and nightlife scene, she’s been a competitive mixologist, nightclub manager, cooking instructor, events director and even financial advisor.
