Hawaiian Style
Inspired by her island upbringing, Honolulu-born artist Kelsie Dayna first came out with Keiki’s First ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i Coloring and Activity Book and has now expanded into a set of informative and beautifully illustrated flashcards. Great for keiki who are 3 years and older, the set includes 50 double-sided cards with basic words in seven categories, such as colors, numbers, weather and animals. This adorable educational tool proves it’s never too early (or too late!) to learn Hawaiian.

Rock On
Photo shoots, story time and chill time will be a whole lot cuter with a keiki rocking chair from Palaka Rockahs. Christian and Courtney Taum—the husband-and-wife team behind the brand—were inspired when they made a chair for their friend’s kid and they actually relaxed (toddlers rarely relax, right?)! Palaka Rockahs showcase a fabric worn by Hawai‘i families generations ago. Each chair is made to order (taking about 4 to 6 weeks) and is recommended for keiki ages 1 to 4 years old.

It’s All Wavy, Baby
Groms and gromettes will love this island-style take on the classic four-in-a-row game. The collaboration between Keiki Kaukau and Native Hawaiian artist Jack Soren brings surf vibes to playrooms across paradise. Younger kids will find it satisfying to slide the pieces into the slots, and older ones will be able to practice their strategy skills. The game is made out of responsibly sourced wood and perfectly portable, so keiki will be stoked and occupied at home or on the go.
