You’ve got three chances to laugh out loud this weekend with original musical comedies, stand-up and improv by Hawai‘i-based performers, including special guest Breea Yamat, Miss Hawai‘i USA 2024. While the evening sets are geared to the 18+ crowd, families are encouraged to attend the interactive matinee on Saturday where audience participation will drive the show.

Stake out your spot along Kalākaua Avenue to cheer on the procession of over-the-top floats decked out in vibrant flowers, pā‘ū riders on horseback, marching bands, dignitaries and more. The parade marks the end of the annual month-long celebration of Hawaiian culture.

Learn all about native Hawaiian plants through keiki activities and cultural demonstrations, such as lauhala weaving, ‘ohe kapala carving, poi pounding, a fashion show, games and more. Also, check out the newly opened Hale Pili o nā Mikanele, a replica of an 1823 house made of native pili grass.

Kailua Town will be hopping on Saturday with the return of this block party now in its third year. Listen to live music from Mana‘o Company, Big Every Time (B.E.T.) and more, play jumbo games, enjoy face painting, shop local vendors and join the after party bar crawl.

Celebrate your love of cycling and take in scenic views of the island during this non-competitive event. Choose from the 25- to 100-mile Century Ride route or the keiki-friendly 5- or 8-mile Aloha Fun Ride circuit, and end up at Kapi‘olani Park for a finish line festival with music, food and a keiki bike course.
