Miniso
If the Disney, Sanrio, Pixar and Daiso boutiques had a baby, Miniso would be it—it’s practically squee in store form. The Chinese retailer soft-opened its first Hawai‘i location at Pearlridge Center on Sept. 5 with a character-driven assortment that revolves around cuteness and fun. Product categories include homewares, health and beauty products, fashion accessories, tech gear and even snacks and beverages. A grand opening is set to follow on Saturday, Sept. 21, with special day-of offers.

All the cosmetics are cruelty-free, more than 77% are made with vegan formulations and the majority are Halal-certified. Keep an eye out for bestsellers, such as the brand’s gel eyeliners and Duraline, a liquid sealant that turns eye shadow into waterproof eyeliner.
