Saturday, Sept. 28, to Saturday, Nov. 9 (Tuesdays through Sundays), 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and 1 to 4 p.m. on weekdays
Take photos in the iconic sunflower fields and pick out a pumpkin at Waimānalo Country Farm’s pumpkin patch. The price of pumpkins ranges from $2 to $20 depending on size. Plus, indulge in food and beverage items, such as cornbread and lemonade, tour the farm via hayride or play in the keiki activity zone. Bring your Hawai‘i I.D. or military card to receive a $3 discount.

Shop local vendors and makers, enjoy seasonal treats, snap festive photos and get your hands dirty with a keiki planting activity. An array of pumpkins will be available for purchase, including orange and white jack-o’-lantern pumpkins as well as cute mini gourds. The pumpkin patch continues throughout the month during normal business hours (Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), while supplies last.

You’re invited to Kapolei to harvest your own pumpkins, corn and string beans. Keep your keiki entertained with a slew of activities, such as a petting zoo and free hayrides. Make sure to bring a wagon or reusable bags as there is a farmers market where you can purchase produce grown on Aloun Farms’ 3,000-acre grounds.

Sustainable Ghostlines Festival

Part work, part party, this spooky eco-event aims to restore and reward the community. Lend a hand with the neighborhood cleanup or Pālolo Stream restoration, then enjoy the night market with live music from Paul Izak & Friends, an upcycled costume contest, food, keiki games and sustainable vendors.

Keiki are welcome to trick-or-treat at stops with inflatable pumpkins, get their faces painted, commission balloon art and meet costumed characters. And as usual, everyone can enjoy the food and retail vendors, beer garden and live entertainment.

Kuilima Farm’s Fall Celebration

Pose in front of fall-themed backdrops, play lawn games, hop on a hayride and visit the petting zoo at Turtle Bay Resort’s farm, which supports the resort restaurants’ seasonal menus. There also will be a “U-pick” experience, with expected harvests of watermelon, corn and calabaza squash, along with other farm-fresh goodies.
