Celebrate mom by crowning her with fresh flowers. Learn how to make a lei po‘o in the in the wili method with step-by-step help from Ho‘onani Hawai‘i. A mix of spring and tropical blooms will be available, such as locally sourced orchids and foliage, roses, carnations, ti leaves and ferns. Now in its 15th year, the event hosted by TV and radio personality Mele Apana combines all things mothers love: shopping, brunch and awesome entertainment. The Pop-Up Makeke starts at 9 a.m. featuring local fashion designers, such as Ari South, Kini Zamora and Wahine Toa, local products and sweet treats. The show kicks off at 11 a.m. with three-time Grammy winner Kalani Pe‘a, Maunalua, The Lim Family, B.E.T and Hula Halau ‘O Kamuela.
